Evidence-Based Dating Courses (Broadway, UK | Live Online | Digital Download)

Updated: Mar 1

Dating has changed. Humans haven’t, but the context has: swipe culture, endless choice, faster intimacy, slower commitment, and a lot more noise. These courses are designed to help you date with clarity, steadiness, and self-respect- using practical psychology, skills training, and a grounded, integrative approach.

Facilitators

Emily Mitchell & Steve Crowe are clinically trained psychotherapists with established private pratcices in the UK. Through years of working at relational depth with adults navigating attachment patterns, anxiety and relationship challenges, they recognised a clear need for practical, evidence-informed guidance. Together they have developed contemporary, bespoke and integrative dating packages aimed to provide evidence based and practical dating solutions.

Format's Available

  • Face-to-face group (Broadway, UK): 6 weeks

  • Live online group (UK-wide/ global): 6 weeks

  • Digital course to download: self-paced

What makes this different: we translate the latest evidence into tools you can actually use- without fluff, and without turning dating into a performance.

Who Can Benefit

  • Those tired of repeating the same patterns (pursuing, avoiding, overgiving, shutting down).

  • If dating apps leave you feeling depleted, anxious, or numb.

  • You want a relationship, but you don’t want to abandon yourself to get one.

  • You’d like a clearer “inner compass” for choosing well (and leaving early when it’s not right).

What You Will Gain (Evidence-Informed Outcomes)

  • A personal dating map: values, non-negotiables, nervous system cues, blind spots.

  • A pattern profile (attachment + protection strategies) that explains your loops/ outdated scripts..

  • Tools to reduce swipe fatigue / decision overload and date more intentionally.

  • A practical framework for communication, boundaries, and repair (without over-texting, mind-reading, or protest behaviours).

  • Strategies for rejection resilience (so “no” doesn’t collapse your self-worth).

  • A safety-and-sanity plan for modern dating (including scam awareness and red flags).

We also explicitly address the mental load and wellbeing impact that some people experience with dating apps (body image, emotional relgulation difficulties, compulsive patterns).
